Frunobulax57′s – Recovered Alcoholic

Alcoholism

George, a Hooker and a Priest

I did ninety percent of my Fifth Step with my sponsor, George – five percent with an AA-alcoholic priest and the rest with an AA-alcoholic Call-Girl girl from my hometown, New York City. (Whom made a house call to me at home by the way. You should have heard me explaining THAT one to Nancy).

All three were my “Specialists” in those portions of my Fifth Step which I presented to each of them and were thoroughly familiar with Steps Four through Nine – which to me is tantamount. Their feedback in their respective “fields” was powerful and revealing.

If someone knew NOTHING about Step Five but knew everything about 4,6,7,8, & 9 I’d rather THAT person than someone who knew about Step Five – because they could not possibly be as familiar with step 5 as I would need – not without experience and familiarity with those other steps.

The Reason? He won’t know what we are looking for or why – and if a Fourth Step is in shambles, they would not ever know enough to bring it to my attention.

Catholic confessions and 5th steps may seem similar to the uninitiated, but they are so totally far removed in purpose, objective and even procedure, as be be two totally different varieties of
fruit. Incomparable.

Peace,

Danny S
